Mulligan’s is an irish pub concept by LifeBrandz. I was commissioned to design and build a website as a revamp for them. Given the beautiful photography that was done for the outlet, I decided to make use of a fullscreen background to showcase the photos as an arresting visual for the webdesign.
As the content was minimal, I decided to make it a one-page affair with scrolling. To make things a little more interesting, I coupled this with the jQuery parallex effect. I tested the website with a few friends who indeed played around with the scrolling when they realized the foreground elements moved with varying speeds with the parallex effect.
This entire website was coded on HTML5 and CSS3 with JQuery and is cross-browser compatible. It was built on WordPress as a CMS for ease of updates and revisions to the content.
